Frequently asked questions
What toner does the Brother MFC-L9670CDN use?
The Brother MFC-L9670CDN uses TN810 standard-yield black (approx. 9,000 pages), TN810XL high-yield (approx. 12,000 pages black / 9,000 pages color) and TN815XL super high-yield (approx. 15,000 pages black / 12,000 pages color) toner cartridges.
What is the difference between TN810, TN810XL and TN815XL?
All three fit the MFC-L9670CDN. The TN810XL (also written TN-810XL) is the high-yield version — about 12,000 pages black / 9,000 pages color — and the TN815XL is the super high-yield version — about 15,000 pages black / 12,000 pages color — versus about 9,000 pages black for the standard TN810. Higher yield means a lower cost per page.
Are compatible TN815XL toner cartridges safe for my Brother MFC-L9670CDN?
Yes. Our compatible cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed Brother's specifications and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Using compatible cartridges does not void your printer's warranty.
Which cartridge is the best value for heavy printing?
For the heaviest printing, the TN815XL super high-yield cartridge (about 15,000 pages black / 12,000 pages color) gives the MFC-L9670CDN its lowest cost per page. For occasional printing, the standard TN810 is the most economical upfront.
