I print in bursts — heavy one week, nothing the next. Will toner sitting in the machine go stale?
No. Toner is a dry powder, not a liquid ink, so it does not dry out, clog or expire on a calendar the way inkjet cartridges can. The ratings are counted in printed pages — 3,000 for black and 2,000 for each color — and idle weeks simply do not use any of them. A home business with a spiky workload gets the full count out of a set, just spread over more months.
How do I make sure this set fits my 6605N before I buy it?
Bring up the supplies screen on the machine and read the four numbers shown there. This set is built for the WorkCentre 6605 family, including the WorkCentre 6605N on your desk, and its numbers are: black 106R02244, cyan 106R02241, magenta 106R02242 and yellow 106R02243. When your panel lists the same four, the set is the correct one — the part numbers are the reliable check, not the model badge alone.
What do I get for the $117.81?
Four individually sealed toner cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta, one yellow. You install each as the machine asks for it, so a fresh set can partly live in the drawer while the rest is in the printer. Drum units and the waste bottle are separate supplies with their own numbers and are not included in this carton.
I scan receipts and contracts to my laptop constantly. Does that count against the cartridges?
Not at all. Scanning sends an image to your computer and uses no toner; only the pages you actually print or copy draw on the cartridges. For a home office that digitizes most of its paperwork, that means the set is spent almost entirely on the documents that genuinely need to exist on paper — invoices, shipping labels and signed copies.
How does delivery to a home office work?

What protection do I have if a cartridge does not perform?
The set carries a 1-year warranty together with 1-year free returns, so a defective cartridge is replaced or refunded rather than debated. Support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want to talk it through first.
