Frequently Asked Questions

Why would an SL-M2625 owner buy five cartridges in one go?

Because the per-cartridge price falls off a cliff. One MLT-D116L bought singly is $32.13; in this box of five for the SL-M2625 it works out to $17.34 — a saving of $73.96 across the pack. If your M2625 prints every day, the only real question is shelf space. The cartridges are identical to the single, so the pack is simply the same toner bought the cheaper way.

How long will 15,000 pages of toner last us?

That depends on your monthly volume, and the sums are easy. At 250 pages a month — a busy home office — this box covers around five years of printing. At 750 pages a month, roughly twenty months. Even a small team getting through 1,500 pages a month has the best part of a year on hand. Most buyers find the pack outlasts their reorder patience rather than the other way round.

Do all five cartridges fit straight into my SL-M2625?

Yes. Every unit in the box is the MLT-D116L high-yield cartridge the SL-M2625 was designed around — the same 3,000-page fill as the single listing, five times over. There is no "pack version" of the cartridge and nothing to adapt; you open one, fit it, and the other four wait their turn.

Can the box double as stock for another Samsung printer?

It can, if the other machine is from the same family. This cartridge also serves the Xpress M2626, M2676, M2826 and M2875 models, the SL-M2835DW and SL-M2885FW, and the Xpress SL-M2675F, SL-M2825DW and SL-M2875FD. Plenty of buyers keep one 5 pack as a shared pool for two printers and simply take from it as either machine runs dry.

How do I keep five cartridges in good shape until they are needed?

Sealed, flat, cool and dry — that is the whole recipe. Leave each MLT-D116L in its bag until fitting day, store the box away from heat sources, and use the cartridges in arrival order. Toner is dry powder and stores far better than ink; a pack worked through over a year or two is perfectly normal. Writing the delivery month on the box helps keep the rotation honest.

I have only used two cartridges — what cover do the rest have?

The same as the two you fitted. Every cartridge in this pack sits under a 1 year warranty with one year of free returns from the order date, so an unused spare that turns out faulty — or a pack you simply over-bought — is dealt with under the policy on our shipping and returns page. The box ships from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA.
