Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Q7570A, sold as the HP 70A?
It is the high-capacity black cartridge for HP's big departmental LaserJets, rated at 15,000 pages. The 70A is a substantial unit built for machines that serve whole floors, and its part number — Q7570A — is the code to match against the cartridge coming out of your printer.
What does a 15,000-page rating mean for a department?
A LaserJet M5035 printing a few thousand pages a month can run a full quarter or more on one cartridge. Changes become scheduled events rather than emergencies, and the supplies cupboard needs fewer, larger restocks across the year.
Is fitting a cartridge this size a job for our IT team?
No, though it is a two-hand lift. Open the printer's cartridge door, slide the old unit out along its rails, remove the sealing tape from the new one, and push it home until it locks. Anyone who can change a desktop cartridge can change this one; it is simply bigger.
Our pages have developed a gray background haze. Is that the cartridge?
Often, yes. A uniform gray veil, or print that fades evenly across wide pages, points to a cartridge at the end of its life rather than a printer fault. Fit the replacement and reprint the same page: if the haze is gone, the old cartridge was the whole problem.
Can this cartridge sit in a busy machine for months without issues?
Yes. Toner is dry powder; it does not dry out, settle hard or expire inside the printer. A cartridge installed for a long departmental run behaves the same in month four as in week one, provided the printer itself is kept reasonably clean and cool.
What backing does it carry?
It is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, set out on our shipping and returns page. We deliver from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and support is staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
About This 70A Cartridge
A single compatible Q7570A cartridge with a 15,000-page rating, built for the departmental LaserJets that anchor a floor's printing. Within our HP toner cartridge range the 70A is the heavy lifter: one large sealed unit, a quarter's worth of pages for many departments, and a changeover simple enough that it never needs to become a helpdesk ticket. It is priced at $96.84.
This is the 2nd toner I'm using and it still appears to be by far the best alternative to using the far more expensive equivalent. Delivery was also timely.

Priced competitively at this quality. Made a totally right decision by spending the a few more buck to get this quality product. My last compatible was a total knockoff. Will stay with tonerandinkjetstore for future purchase!
Be sure to only order one at a time.

Don't try to plan ahead and order more than one; you run the chance of the second one being non-usable but you are past the chance to send it back for replacement
