WF-6590 Ink — The Model Epson's Own Table Documents
The WF-6590 is the reference model for this family: its Epson Start Here sheet prints the replacement table in full — black, cyan, magenta and yellow, each in 748, 748XL and 748XXL. That table is why this page can state the whole ladder with confidence: standard 2,500 / 1,500 per colour, XL 5,000 / 4,000 per colour, XXL 10,000 / 7,000 per colour, ISO/IEC 24711 throughout. Our shelf stocks the XL row of that table as compatible packs: T748XL120 / T748XL220 / T748XL320 / T748XL420.
The standard and XXL rows are named here so you can match the pack you are removing; they are not sold as compatibles in this range, and there is no four-pack set. If your WF-6590 is running XXL today, an XL pack still fits the same position — tiers mix freely on this model.
The same 748XL shelf serves the whole family roster — WF-6090, WF-6530, WF-8090, WF-8590 — so one cartridge list covers every model on it, and a spare bought for any of them fits the rest.
Which 748XL should you buy?
- Order colour by colour: black, cyan, magenta and yellow packs are $58.49 each — replace the single pack the printer calls for.
- No set exists in this family: our 748 range is four individual XL packs. There is no four-pack set, and no compatible standard or XXL pack, in this range.
Chip, ink and everyday use
Each pack carries a green IC chip that tracks its level, and Epson's own ink pack documents carry the family's standing warning: a firmware update can stop a non-Epson pack that worked before it. Our packs carry new compatible chips; reseat and restart first if a warning ever follows an update. The PrecisionCore print head is fixed in the printer and never leaves it — a replacement is just the sealed pack. Lifetime warranty and 1-year free returns cover every pack.
