ET-8500 Ink: Six Bottles, Itemised by Epson Itself Epson's ET-8500 page gives the full ink ledger in one block: "Ink Yield ISO Pages: 552 — Photo Black: 7300; Black: 6700; Color (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow): 6200; Gray: 46600." Printing technology: 6-color (BK, PB, C, M, Y, Gy). Those are the figures our pages carry — including the Gray bottle's 46,600, which is Epson's published rating on the ISO/IEC 24712 document pattern (photo yields, per Epson's footnote, are measured on ISO/IEC 29103 and run significantly lower; some resellers print 6,200 for Gray, a figure no current Epson sheet supports).
The two blacks divide the work as they do across this family: pigment Black for the documents a photo household still prints, dye Photo Black for glossy shadow detail — separate tanks, separate bottles, no swapping. Gray is the quiet specialist: black-and-white prints and neutral mid-tones are its department.
Refill singles as tanks dip, or reset all six with the set. Every Clever Supplies 552 bottle carries a lifetime warranty and 1-year free returns.
