Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly arrives if I order this listing?

One cyan toner cartridge — the compatible build of Xerox part number 006R01512 — priced at $96.46 and rated at up to 15,000 pages. A single unit for a single color position, sealed and ready to fit. It is not a rainbow pack: the other colors are their own cartridges, listed separately.

This listing just says "WorkCentre". Which machines is it actually for?

The 006R01512 is the cyan cartridge for a whole generation of color WorkCentres: the WorkCentre 7525, WorkCentre 7530, WorkCentre 7535, WorkCentre 7545, WorkCentre 7556, WorkCentre 7830, WorkCentre 7835, WorkCentre 7845, WorkCentre 7855 and WorkCentre 7970. The generic title exists because one cartridge honestly serves all ten.

How do I confirm cyan is the color my machine is asking for?

Read the machine's own supply screen: it reports each color separately and names the position that is low. Then check the cartridge you take out — the cyan unit is the one this listing replaces, and its label carries the 006R01512 number. If the screen names a different color, this is not the cartridge to order this time.

Where do the other three colors come from?

From their own listings, under their own numbers: black is 006R01509, magenta is 006R01511, yellow is 006R01510. Four positions, four cartridges, four independent supplies — this page covers the cyan one, and the set is completed by ordering the others only when their levels call for it.

What does the page cost look like across the platform?

Uniform, because the cartridge is uniform: $96.46 over a 15,000-page rating is roughly 0.64 cents of cyan per page at the standard 5% coverage, whether the machine is a 7525 or a 7970. Coverage is the variable — graphics-heavy printing spends cyan faster on every model in the family.

What backing comes with the cartridge?

A 1-year warranty with free returns for a full year; the full terms are on our shipping and returns page. We hold stock in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This WorkCentre Cyan Cartridge (006R01512)

Cyan is the supply behind the blues, half of the greens and the cool half of every photograph these machines print, so it is the color most owners end up ordering first.
