Frequently Asked Questions

Why have the blues in our prints gone pale and greyish?

Cyan is the toner that builds every blue on the page — skies, charts, headings, water, denim. When the cyan position runs low, blue is the first casualty: solid blues wash out, sky tones slide toward gray, and deep blues pick up a lavender cast because magenta is no longer being balanced. If your black text still prints crisply while the blues fade, the machine is telling you exactly which cartridge is tired — this one.

What exactly is this listing?

One compatible cyan toner cartridge, Xerox part number 006R01512, priced at $96.46 and rated at up to 15,000 pages. It is a single cartridge for the cyan position only — not a set, and not a substitute for any other color.

Which printers does the 006R01512 serve?

It is the shared cyan cartridge for the WorkCentre 7525, WorkCentre 7530, WorkCentre 7535, WorkCentre 7545, WorkCentre 7556, WorkCentre 7830, WorkCentre 7835, WorkCentre 7845, WorkCentre 7855 and WorkCentre 7970. This page is written around the 7525, but the cartridge is identical across the platform.

The display flags cyan while the other colors look fine. Do I change everything?

No. Each color sits in its own position with its own cartridge and its own supply level, and they empty on independent schedules. A cyan warning is answered with a cyan cartridge; the black, magenta and yellow units stay where they are until their own turn comes.

What does each page cost with this cartridge?

At the rated yield, $96.46 spread over 15,000 pages works out to roughly 0.64 cents per page. That rating assumes the standard 5% coverage, so a run of full-bleed blue presentations will consume cyan faster than plain documents do — but as a budgeting figure for ordinary office color, it holds up well.

What protection comes with the cartridge?

A 1-year warranty, with free returns for a full year if anything underperforms. The full terms sit on our shipping and returns page. Orders leave our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
