Frequently Asked Questions

Why are our greens printing yellow-green instead of green?

Green is not a toner — it is a mixture the machine lays down from cyan plus yellow. Starve the cyan side and the balance tips: grass goes lime, foliage turns olive, and green charts drift toward yellow. When greens shift but pure yellows still look right, the yellow cartridge is innocent and the cyan cartridge on this page is the one running dry.

Is the 006R01512 one cartridge or a multi-pack?

One single cyan cartridge. The price is $96.46 for the unit, and its rating is up to 15,000 pages. The 006R01512 number belongs to the cyan position alone; every other color in the machine carries a different number and is ordered separately.

How many pages will we actually get from it?

The 15,000-page figure is measured at the standard 5% coverage — roughly a page of text with a modest graphic. Real offices print richer pages than that, especially in color, so expect the working life to land below the headline number. As a planning guide it is still the right figure: cost and lifespan comparisons across cartridges are only honest when they use the same rated basis.

Which WorkCentre models run this cyan cartridge?

The WorkCentre 7525, WorkCentre 7530, WorkCentre 7535, WorkCentre 7545, WorkCentre 7556, WorkCentre 7830, WorkCentre 7835, WorkCentre 7845, WorkCentre 7855 and WorkCentre 7970 all draw from the same cyan supply. Order with confidence for any of them; this listing is headed by the 7530.

What about the other three colors in the machine?

They are separate cartridges with separate listings: black is 006R01509, magenta is 006R01511 and yellow is 006R01510. None of them is interchangeable with another, and each is replaced only when its own level runs out. This page answers the cyan slot and nothing else.

What if the cartridge arrives faulty or fades early?

It is covered by a 1-year warranty and returns stay free for a full year — the mechanics are laid out on our shipping and returns page. Stock ships from IL, PA, GA and CA, and a real support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This WorkCentre 7530 Cyan Cartridge

A WorkCentre 7530 whose greens have gone yellow is almost always short of cyan, and this compatible 006R01512 is the cartridge that restores the mix: one unit, $96.46, rated at up to 15,000 pages. Because green, teal and every blue on the page lean on this single supply, it earns its place as the color to watch on a 7530. Everything else the platform uses is gathered on our Xerox toner page.
