Frequently Asked Questions

Why does our company yellow look pale and lifeless in print?

A logo yellow is one of the purest tests of the yellow cartridge: it prints as a large, flat field of this one toner, with nowhere for a shortage to hide. As the supply fades, that field loses saturation and turns wan and chalky — the logo still reads, but it no longer matches the brand color on screen or on older printouts. On a WorkCentre 7835, a tired-looking brand yellow with everything else printing normally is the yellow cartridge asking to be replaced, and this 006R01510 is the one that does it.

Is this the full-size yellow, or a smaller starter cartridge?

The full size. This compatible 006R01510 is rated at up to 15,000 pages and priced at $96.46 — about 0.64 cents per page at standard coverage. There is no cut-down version hiding in this listing; the rating on the page is the rating in the box.

The screen flags yellow only. Do I really change just one cartridge?

Yes — that is how the machine is designed to be fed. The four colors live in four separate cartridges that empty independently, and a yellow warning says nothing about the state of the other three. Replacing only the flagged color is not a shortcut; it is the intended routine, and each remaining color gets its own replacement when its own warning arrives.

Which models does this yellow fit besides the 7835?

The rest of the platform takes the identical cartridge: the WorkCentre 7525, WorkCentre 7530, WorkCentre 7535, WorkCentre 7545 and WorkCentre 7556, together with the WorkCentre 7830, WorkCentre 7845, WorkCentre 7855 and WorkCentre 7970.

Is swapping it a service call or a two-minute job?

A two-minute job, and one designed for office staff rather than technicians: open the front, lift the old yellow out of its position, seat the new one, close up. No tools, no settings to change. The hardest part of the whole task is remembering which color the screen asked for — and in this case it is the one on this page.

What warranty stands behind it?

A 1-year warranty, with free returns for a full year under the terms on our shipping & returns page. If the cartridge fades early or arrives anything less than right, it comes back and you are made whole.
