Frequently Asked Questions

Why are our greens printing blue?

Green is not a toner in your machine — it is a mixture, made on the page by combining cyan with yellow. When the yellow supply runs out, the cyan keeps arriving on its own and every green in your documents collapses into blue or teal. Grass looks like water, green headings turn corporate blue, and charts lose a whole category. On a WorkCentre 7530, blue-where-green-should-be almost always means the yellow cartridge — this 006R01510 — is finished.

How can yellow be empty when our pages barely show any yellow?

That is the trap with this color: pure yellow is the lightest toner in the machine and nearly invisible on white paper, so you never watch it fade the way you watch black weaken. It spends itself quietly inside other colors — greens, oranges, warm greys, skin tones — and the first visible evidence is those mixtures going wrong, not a pale yellow patch.

Is this one cartridge, or the whole color set?

One cartridge: the yellow, sold on its own because that is how these machines consume toner. Each color position holds a separate cartridge with a separate listing and empties on its own timetable. If the supply screen names yellow, this listing is the complete answer — nothing else needs to come off the shelf today.

Which printers share this cartridge with the 7530?

The 006R01510 is the platform's common yellow: the WorkCentre 7525, WorkCentre 7535, WorkCentre 7545 and WorkCentre 7556 use it, and so do the newer WorkCentre 7830, WorkCentre 7835, WorkCentre 7845, WorkCentre 7855 and WorkCentre 7970. Two generations, one part number.

How long should 15,000 pages last in a normal office?

The cartridge is rated at up to 15,000 pages and costs $96.46 — roughly 0.64 cents a page at the standard 5% coverage the rating assumes. A 7530 printing mostly correspondence, where yellow only appears in a logo and the odd chart, can stretch one cartridge across many months; the same machine printing photo-heavy brochures will call for the next one far sooner.

What protection comes with this cartridge?

A 1-year warranty stands behind it, with free returns for a full year under the terms on our shipping & returns page. If it arrives damaged or gives up early, you are covered — replacement or refund, not an argument.
