Frequently Asked Questions

Who is an eight-cartridge set actually for?

A Phaser 7400 that works like a press: shared by a studio, a print room or a marketing department, running color every day, where an empty position does not just pause one person's job — it backs up a queue. Eight cartridges means a full working load in the machine and a full reserve behind it, so toner stops being a thing anyone has to think about between planned restocks.

How should a stock this size be rotated?

First in, first out. When the reserve is drawn on, take from the oldest boxes, and when the next set arrives, put it behind what is already on the shelf. A pencil date on each box when it arrives makes the rotation effortless and keeps any one cartridge from sitting in storage far longer than the others.

What part numbers does the set cover?

The four high-yield cartridges of the platform: black 106R01080, rated at up to 15,000 pages, and cyan 106R01077, magenta 106R01078 and yellow 106R01079, rated at up to 18,000 pages each at the standard 5% coverage. The eight cartridges in the box are drawn from those four numbers, giving you depth on the positions your workload consumes fastest.

Which models take these cartridges?

The complete Phaser 7400 range: Phaser 7400, Phaser 7400DFX, Phaser 7400DN, Phaser 7400DT and Phaser 7400DX, including the DXF finisher configuration. One stock of cartridges serves every variant on the floor.

Does toner keep well when it is bought this far ahead?

Yes, with ordinary care: boxes stored sealed, flat, dry and out of direct sun keep their quality for a long shelf life. The enemies are damp, heat and a torn bag. A print room that dates its boxes and rotates them has nothing to worry about.

How is a set of this size covered and shipped?

It is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, set out on our shipping and returns page. Orders are dispatched from the nearest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
