Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is inside this five-cartridge set?

Five cartridges built from the four part numbers this WorkCentre family runs on: black 006R01457, cyan 006R01460, magenta 006R01459 and yellow 006R01458. Four of them cover every toner slot in the machine at once, and the fifth stays boxed as a same-family spare for whichever slot runs down first.

How long does a set like this last in a working department?

The black 006R01457 is rated at up to 22,000 pages, while the cyan 006R01460, magenta 006R01459 and yellow 006R01458 are rated at up to 15,000 pages each, all at the standard 5% coverage. On a departmental machine that copies as much as it prints, that black rating is the one that carries most of the load.

Which printers does this set fit?

The WorkCentre 7120, WorkCentre 7125, WorkCentre 7220, WorkCentre 7220i, WorkCentre 7225, WorkCentre 7225i, WorkCentre WC7220TI and WorkCentre WC7225TI. Two hardware generations share this one cartridge family, which simplifies stocking for a mixed fleet.

Why keep a fifth cartridge instead of just four?

On a shared floor machine, a low-toner warning rarely arrives at a convenient moment. The spare means the next change is a two-minute job at the machine rather than a purchase order, an approval chain and a delivery wait while the department works around a printer that has stopped.

Does copying consume these cartridges the same way printing does?

Yes — a copy and a print lay down toner in exactly the same way, and color copying draws on all four cartridges. Offices that scan-to-email instead of copying paper originals tend to stretch a set noticeably further.

What does the set cost, and what cover comes with it?

The set is $391.67, and the cartridges carry a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns — the details are on our shipping & returns page. Orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, and our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Xerox 7120 5 Color Set

Built for the WorkCentre 71xx and 72xx departmental machines, this set combines black 006R01457 (up to 22,000 pages) with cyan 006R01460, magenta 006R01459 and yellow 006R01458 (up to 15,000 pages each) — four cartridges for a complete slot-by-slot refresh, plus a fifth from the same family held back as a spare. It is priced at $391.67. Because both generations take the same four part numbers, one box on the shelf covers every compatible machine on the floor. Toner for other models is stocked throughout the Xerox range.
