Frequently Asked Questions

How is this set different from the colour-only sets sold for these printers?

It covers the whole machine, not just the colour side. Alongside cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758, the box also spans black 106R02759 — all four part numbers this printer family runs on, in a single order. Colour-only sets leave the black bay to a separate purchase; this five-cartridge set is the one to choose when you want every position in the printer provided for at once, whether the machine is due a full refresh or you simply want a complete spare set on the shelf.

How many cartridges of each colour are in the five?

The listing fixes the set at five cartridges spread across the four codes, but it does not publish an exact per-colour split, and we would rather say that plainly than guess at a mix. What is certain is that all four positions are represented: the black 106R02759 and the three colours. Before ordering, weigh the box against your own print pattern: a desk that prints mostly text leans hardest on the black bay, while a colour-heavy desk burns the cyan, magenta and yellow positions faster, so the right check is whether a five-piece mix matches how your machine actually consumes toner.

Why is the black cartridge rated at twice the colours?

Because the two ratings describe different jobs. The black 106R02759 is rated at up to 2,000 pages per cartridge, while each colour — 106R02756, 106R02757 and 106R02758 — is rated at up to 1,000 pages. Both figures are measured at the standard 5% page coverage, and on a typical office machine the black fill also does the heavier everyday work of text and forms, so the platform simply gives it the larger tank. In practice it means the colour bays will usually call for attention sooner than the black one, and the ratings let you plan for that rather than be surprised by it.

What is the sensible way to work through a mixed set like this?

Fit cartridges one bay at a time, only where the printer is actually asking. A set is a small stock, not a single change: leave the remaining cartridges sealed until their position runs dry, and make a note of which colour you swapped and when — after one full cycle you will know your machine's real burn order, which is exactly the information that makes the next order the right size. If output in one colour fades before the printer declares the bay empty, rock that cartridge gently side to side first; settled toner often recovers a unit that looked finished.

Which printers does this five-cartridge set fit?

The set serves the printer and multifunction models built on this shared-supply platform: the Phaser 6022 and Phaser 6022ni on the printer side, and the WorkCentre 6020, WorkCentre 6025 and WorkCentre 6027ni on the multifunction side. The dependable confirmation is the part number on the cartridge you are replacing: if the outgoing units carry the 106R02756 to 106R02759 codes, this set speaks to the right bays.

What cover does the set carry if one cartridge disappoints?

Each cartridge is covered on its own terms: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns stand behind every unit in the box, so a cartridge that leaks, streaks or gives out well short of its rating is replaced or refunded without disturbing the rest of your stock. Orders leave from whichever of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California is closest to you; delivery and returns details are on our shipping & returns page, and the support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want to talk the set through before ordering.

About This Five-Cartridge Full-Range Set for the Xerox 6022/6027 Platform

This is the full-range five-cartridge set for the Xerox Phaser 6022 and WorkCentre 6020/6025/6027 platform, priced at $52.42 and spanning all four of the family's toner codes: black 106R02759, rated at up to 2,000 pages, and cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758, each rated at up to 1,000 pages. Where colour-only sets stop at three bays, this box provides for the black position as well, making it the natural single purchase for a complete refresh or a complete spare set. The listing does not fix the exact per-colour split of the five, so check the mix against your own usage pattern before ordering; every cartridge is individually backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and the single cartridges and multi-packs for this platform sit alongside it in the Xerox range.
