Frequently Asked Questions

Three of the four levels on my Phaser 6022 dropped within a month of each other — coincidence?

Not really. The four cartridges went in at roughly the same time and have shared every page since, so on a small desktop machine doing everyday office color they tend to run down in a loose convoy. When the second and third warnings land close behind the first, a single four-color set is usually a better answer than three separate single orders spread over the next few weeks.

What does this 6022 set include?

One cartridge per position: black 106R02759, cyan 106R02756, magenta 106R02757 and yellow 106R02758. Each arrives individually sealed, so during a full change you can peel them open slot by slot rather than laying four open cartridges out on the desk.

How long will a fresh set realistically last in a 6022?

The black 106R02759 is rated around 2,000 pages and the colors around 1,000 pages each at 5% coverage. A home office or small team printing letters, invoices and the occasional color report will feel the colors set the schedule — black has roughly twice the runway, so expect to think about color again well before black needs attention.

Is this the right set for my printer?

If the machine on your desk is the Phaser 6022, yes — these are its four part numbers. The same codes also serve the WorkCentre 6027, so if you run one of each, a single set type covers both machines.

One color is empty but the others still show life — swap everything or just the empty one?

Just the empty one is fine. The printer meters each slot independently, and a cartridge with pages left in it keeps perfectly well installed in the machine. The value of having the set on hand is that the next change is a two-minute job with no order in between — swap what is empty today and let the rest finish their run.

How is delivery handled, and what if a cartridge disappoints?

We ship from the closest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses; timings and the returns process are laid out on our shipping and returns page. The set carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and our support team is reachable Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
