Frequently Asked Questions

What does a three-cartridge rotation look like for an SL-M2625D in regular use?

Simple and self-managing: one MLT-D116L in the printer, two sealed in the cupboard. When the fitted cartridge fades for good, the first spare goes in and a note goes on the shopping list; when the second spare is fitted, it is time to order again. Run that way, the SL-M2625D never waits on a delivery and you never think about toner more than a few times a year.

How does the per-cartridge price in this 3 pack compare with buying the single?

It drops from $32.13 to $19.80. Three singles would total $96.39; this pack of three MLT-D116L cartridges is $59.41, saving $36.98, and each of the pack's 9,000 rated pages costs about 0.66 cents in toner instead of roughly 1.07 cents. The pack sits in the family's middle ground — a serious saving over singles, without stocking five.

9,000 pages in total — what sort of workload does that actually cover?

For a small team printing 750 pages a month, it is a year's toner. In job terms it is roughly forty-five 200-page reports, or a few thousand letters, invoices and forms mixed the way an office really prints them. However your SL-M2625D's work divides up, 9,000 pages is a long stretch of not thinking about cartridges.

Which other Samsung printers do these cartridges fit?

The pack's cartridges are the MLT-D116L common to the Xpress M2626, Xpress M2676, Xpress M2826, Xpress M2835 DW, Xpress M2875, Xpress M2875 DW, Xpress SL-M2675F, Xpress SL-M2825DW, Xpress SL-M2875FD, SL-M2835DW and SL-M2885FW, besides the SL-M2625D. Stock kept for one of those machines is stock kept for all of them — see the Samsung toner range.

Where do the two spare cartridges wait between changes?

Somewhere unglamorous: sealed in their box, flat, in a dry cupboard near the printer, out of direct sunlight and away from radiators. Toner powder is indifferent to waiting, so a spare kept like this prints at full strength whenever its turn comes. Keep the box where the person who changes cartridges will actually find it — a spare nobody can locate is no spare at all.

What cover applies to the cartridges in this pack?

Every cartridge in the pack is protected by a one-year warranty, and returns are free of charge for one year — first cartridge or third, the terms are the same, as the shipping and returns page describes. The pack ships from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
