Frequently Asked Questions

How does a six-cartridge set change our ordering routine?

Instead of a fresh order every time a low-toner warning appears, your team pulls the next cartridge from the supply cabinet and keeps working. One purchase covers a long stretch of printing, and whoever manages office supplies places far fewer, larger orders. That alone removes most toner-related interruptions from the workweek.

What does the math look like per cartridge?

Six cartridges for $291.99 works out to roughly $48.67 per cartridge on average. Set beside the $64.07 price of a single color cartridge, the bulk quantity trims the unit cost substantially. The more predictable your volume, the more this kind of buying pays off.

Will this set work in our machine, or only in the model named in the listing?

The set serves the whole platform: Ricoh MP C401 and MP C401SR printers all draw from the same 8419-series cartridge family, so the listing's single model name is just a title, not a limitation. Every cartridge here installs in the same slots across the family. If your current cartridges carry 8419-series numbers, you are set.

How far do the page ratings stretch across six cartridges?

Use the series ratings as your planning guide: up to 15,000 pages for black and up to 9,500 pages for each color at standard 5% coverage. A department printing a few thousand pages a month can measure the life of this set in seasons rather than weeks. Dense graphics and full-page photos will naturally pull the real totals below the ratings.

Any tips for storing half a dozen cartridges properly?

Keep them in their sealed packaging, lying flat, in a normal office environment — not beside a heater, window, or in a damp storeroom. Toner is stable for long periods when it stays dry and at room temperature. Mark the outside of the cabinet with the order date so staff naturally grab the oldest box first.

How are warranty claims handled on a bulk set like this?

Coverage is per cartridge, and it is generous: one year of warranty protection and free returns within the first year apply to every unit in the box. If one cartridge disappoints, only that cartridge needs to come back to us. Start the process through our shipping and returns page and we will take it from there.
