Frequently Asked Questions
Our MC573DN's colors look washed out — will a fresh set fix that?
If the fading tracks with low toner, very likely yes. Washed-out color is the classic end-of-life sign for these cartridges, and this set replaces all four positions at once — black, cyan, magenta and yellow, the group numbered 46490604, 46490603, 46490602 and 46490601 — so you are not guessing which single color gave up.
When is the right moment to reorder?
At the first low-toner warning, not when a color stops outright. On the MC573DN a presentation deadline does not wait for shipping; ordering at the warning leaves the warning cartridge as your buffer while the set travels from the nearest of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California.
What does the set cost, and what is in it?
$122.07 for four cartridges — about $30.52 each — covering every color position in the machine. Install the one you need today and shelve the rest sealed; nothing in the set goes to waste by waiting.
What yields should we expect?
The black cartridge is rated at 7,000 pages and each color at 6,000 pages, quoted by class rather than added into one total. Photo- and graphics-heavy work will land below those figures; plain office documents come much closer.
Does this set fit anything else we run?
It also serves the C532, C532DN and MC573, which share this cartridge family — useful if the MC573DN is not the only Oki device on your network.
What backing does a compatible set carry?
Our 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year, detailed on the shipping & returns page, plus support Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The wider compatible range is on the Okidata brand page.
