Frequently Asked Questions
All four colors on my C532 are fading — is one set enough?
Yes. This is a full four-color set — black, cyan, magenta and yellow in one box — so a single order refreshes every position in the printer. The four cartridges are the ones catalogued under 46490604, 46490603, 46490602 and 46490601, grouped together because they are always replaced as members of the same family.
Do I have to install all four at once?
No. Install whichever cartridge the printer is asking for and keep the others sealed on the shelf. There is no penalty for splitting the set across several weeks — each cartridge is independent, and the sealed ones store fine in a cool, dry spot away from direct light.
What does the set cost per cartridge?
The set is $122.07, which works out to roughly $30.52 per cartridge across the four. Buying the positions together in one box is the simple way most C532 owners restock, rather than chasing four separate orders as each color fades.
How are the yields rated?
By class: black at 7,000 pages, and each of the three colors at 6,000 pages. Real life varies with coverage — dense color documents drain the color cartridges faster, while plain text leans almost entirely on the black.
Which machines take this set?
The C532 and C532DN printers, plus the MC573 and MC573DN multifunction models. If your office has more than one of these, the same set serves whichever one calls for toner first.
What if a cartridge disappoints me?
Every compatible set we sell carries a 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year — the terms are spelled out on our shipping & returns page. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and you can browse the wider range on the Okidata brand page.
