Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this listing put "(52116002)" in the product name?
Because that number is the cartridge's identity. Models come in several variants, but the B6500 family all drink from the same cartridge, and 52116002 is its number. Putting it in the name lets you match it against the cartridge in your hand in about five seconds, with no cross-referencing and no doubt.
How do I match the number to the cartridge I already have?
Pull the cartridge from your B6500 — or find its box — and look for 52116002 printed on it. If it is there, this listing is the same cartridge: high-yield black, rated at 22,000 pages. The number matters more than the model badge, because the badge changed across the family while the number never did.
What do I get for $116.56?
One high-yield black cartridge rated at 22,000 pages — about 0.53 cents per printed page. That rating assumes standard 5% coverage, so heavy, dense documents will trim the total somewhat while light office text can exceed expectations. For a single-cartridge purchase, the value here is measured in months between changes.
Is this the same cartridge sold under the plain B6500 listings?
Yes. The parenthesised number is simply made explicit in this listing's name; the cartridge is identical — same 52116002 specification, same 22,000-page rating, same $116.56 price. Whichever listing you order from, the same cartridge arrives.
Does it cover the rest of the B6500 family as well?
It does: B6500, B6500dn and B6500dtn all take the 52116002. That is precisely why the number leads the name — one cartridge, three model badges, and the number is the thread that ties them together.
What guarantee stands behind it?
A one-year warranty and one-year free returns, set out on our shipping & returns page. This is a Clever Supplies compatible cartridge rather than an Okidata original, and the cover is there so that trying it costs you nothing if it fails to satisfy.
