Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the 3-pack sit in this cartridge's pack ladder?
In the middle, and deliberately so. Singles cost $116.56 each, the 2-pack brings cartridges to about $107.31, this 3-pack to roughly $104.23, and the 5- and 10-packs continue down to $101.77 and $99.92. Three is where the discount becomes substantial while the box stays a manageable size for one printer.
Who is three the right number for?
An office with one B6500-family printer that prints steadily but not enormously. One cartridge in the machine, two in reserve, is about 66,000 pages of cover — enough that toner ordering becomes an annual event rather than a recurring chore, without tying up the money a 10-pack would.
How much do I save against buying the cartridges one by one?
$36.98. Three singles total $349.68; this pack is $312.70. Put differently, the pack discount is worth nearly a third of a fourth cartridge — and it repeats every time you reorder, because the ladder price applies to every 3-pack, not just the first.
What is the total page capacity, and the cost per page?
Each 52116002 is rated at 22,000 pages, so three give you roughly 66,000 pages. Spread the $312.70 across that capacity and toner costs about 0.47 cents per page — the figure to use if you are comparing running costs between printers or against a managed-print quote.
Can these cartridges serve our B6500dn or B6500dtn instead?
Yes — the 52116002 is the family's shared cartridge: B6500, B6500dn and B6500dtn all take it. A pack bought with one machine in mind can cover any of the others, which is handy when printers are moved between departments.
What happens if one cartridge in the pack is faulty?
It is covered on its own: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns apply to every cartridge, as set out on our shipping & returns page, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. These are Clever Supplies compatible cartridges, and the pack format never dilutes the cover.
