Frequently Asked Questions
Who buys five cartridges in one order?
Offices that have done the volume maths and stopped wanting to think about toner. Five 52116002 cartridges hold about 110,000 pages. For a B6500 printing 5,000 pages a month that is getting on for two years of supply in a single delivery — one purchase order, one invoice, and the subject is closed.
How does the $508.84 price break down?
Five cartridges at $508.84 is about $101.77 per cartridge, against $116.56 bought singly. Across the pack you save $73.96 — a sum worth roughly two-thirds of another whole cartridge — and the running cost of the printer settles at approximately 0.46 cents per page.
What does 110,000 pages look like in annual terms?
At 3,000 pages a month, this pack covers about three years. At 9,000 pages a month — genuinely heavy departmental volume — it still covers a full year. Whichever way your office prints, a 5-pack converts toner from a monthly line item into an annual one.
Is there any difference between these cartridges and the single?
None at all. Each is the same 52116002 high-yield black cartridge, rated at 22,000 pages, fitting the B6500, B6500dn and B6500dtn. The pack changes the price and the planning, never the product.
How do we store four spare cartridges sensibly?
Keep them sealed, flat and together in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight and radiators. Unopened toner stores well for long periods, so the fifth cartridge will print like the first. A sensible habit is to note the pack's arrival date on the box and use the cartridges in the order they arrived.
Does the warranty still make sense when a pack lasts us two years?
Every cartridge carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — terms on our shipping & returns page — and if a cartridge from the pack ever misbehaves, contact support (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST) and we will sort it out. These are Clever Supplies compatible cartridges, and we stand behind the pack as firmly as the single.
