Frequently Asked Questions
What is the logic of a 2-pack — why not one or three?
One in the printer, one on the shelf. A 2-pack of 52116002 cartridges means the day a cartridge empties, its replacement is already in the building, and you reorder at leisure while the spare prints. It is the smallest pack that completely removes the run-dry risk, which makes it the natural size for a single B6500 that an office depends on.
What does the second cartridge effectively cost?
About $98.06. The pack is $214.62; subtract the $116.56 a single cartridge costs and the reserve cartridge rides along for under a hundred dollars. Averaged across both, you pay roughly $107.31 per cartridge and save $18.50 against buying two singles.
How much printing does the pack represent?
Each 52116002 is rated at 22,000 pages, so the pair holds about 44,000 pages. At 2,000 pages a month that is close to two years of printing; at 4,000 a month, about eleven months. The per-page cost across the pack works out near 0.49 cents.
Are both cartridges the same as the single listing?
Identical — two of the same high-yield black 52116002, each serving the B6500, B6500dn and B6500dtn. Nothing about the cartridge changes in a pack; only the price per cartridge improves and the logistics get simpler.
How should the spare be kept until it is needed?
Sealed in its packaging, flat, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Toner cartridges are patient things — an unopened spare stored properly will perform like new whenever it is installed, whether that is next month or much later.
What cover do the two cartridges carry?
Each one is covered by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, as described on our shipping & returns page. They are Clever Supplies compatible cartridges, and a fault in either is handled individually — the good cartridge is never held hostage by the bad one.
