Frequently Asked Questions

Do incoming faxes really drain the cartridge on our accounting MFP?

They do — every received fax is a printed page, and overnight faxes can quietly consume a meaningful share of the supply. That is precisely why an accounting department running the M634h benefits from this pair: the second W1470X waits in the drawer for the morning the first one gives out.

What is included in this purchase?

Two black cartridges from the 147X family, individually sealed, for $189.85 the pair. Fit one, file the other with the department's supplies, and month-end no longer depends on a toner delivery arriving in time.

How should we plan around month-end statement runs?

Check the supplies gauge in the week before the run. If the installed cartridge is low, swap in the spare before statements start rather than mid-batch, and place the next order the same day — statement runs are exactly the workload you never want interrupted by a fade.

How do we verify the pair is correct for the machine?

The part number settles it. The cartridge inside the MFP is labeled W1470X; these are W1470X cartridges. Matching that code — rather than going by the machine's name alone — is the check that never fails an accounts team. It settles the question for the whole finance floor at once: the M634h, M635z and M636z multifunctions and the M610dn, M610n, M611dn, M611n, M611x, M612dn and M612x printers all match on it.

Where can we see the remaining toner before a big job?

On the MFP's home screen, in the supplies information, or on a printed status page from the reports menu. A ten-second look before a long run tells you whether to print now or swap first.

What protection does the department get?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover both cartridges in the pack. If anything is wrong with a unit, our support team is on hand Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST — the same hours the accounts office keeps.

About This 147X Pair for the Accounts Department

Fax traffic and statement runs give an HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M634h a very particular appetite, and this two-pack of W1470X cartridges at $189.85 answers it: one cartridge working, one in reserve, each rated at 25,200 pages under the 147X family code. A department in a lean quarter can answer the same appetite with the standard-yield 147A (W1470A) pair.

Deliveries come from whichever of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA is nearest you, and the shipping and returns page has the complete picture. The rest of the supplies range for this MFP sits in the HP section.
