Frequently Asked Questions
We run several B5460 printers — can one 3 pack keep them all supplied?
Yes, and that is one of the cleanest uses for it. Every printer in the fleet takes the same 332-0131 cartridge, so this pack is a shared pool of up to 135,000 pages rather than stock tied to one machine: whichever B5460 fades first draws the next cartridge from the shelf.
What does each cartridge in this pack cost us?
$79.73. The pack is $239.19 for three cartridges, each rated at up to 45,000 pages. Bought one at a time the same three cartridges would cost $276.18, so the fleet saves $36.99 on this order alone.
What does the "(332-0131)" in the name confirm for our purchasing records?
It confirms the cartridges are the Dell part number your asset and reorder systems already track for the B5460 — the extra high yield black cartridge. One part number across the fleet means one line on the purchase order and one shelf location, no matter how many printers draw from it.
Are these genuine Dell cartridges?
No, they are compatible cartridges manufactured by a third party to the 332-0131 specification. For a fleet buyer the practical facts are the 45,000-page rating per cartridge, the $79.73 effective price, and the warranty and returns terms set out below.
How do we keep track of which printer a cartridge went into?
Simple shelf discipline works: note the printer and date on the box end when a cartridge is drawn. With cartridges that live up to 45,000 pages, changes are rare events, and a one-line record per change is all it takes to know the state of the whole fleet's toner.
What if a cartridge fails early in one of the printers?
It is covered the same wherever it was installed: a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns applies to every cartridge in the pack. The returns steps are on our shipping & returns page, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
