Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this listing named as a range — B2360D to B3465DNF — instead of after one printer?
Because that is the truth of the product. This 5-pack holds five compatible Dell 331-9805 black cartridges, and the one part number serves the whole span of machines, from the Laser B2360d at one end to the B3465dnf at the other, taking in the B2360dn, B3460dn and B3465dn between them. A range name tells a buyer with any of those machines — or a mix of them — that they are looking at their cartridge, without a separate listing per badge.
Our stores system orders by part number only. Does this pack match it?
Yes — that is exactly who this listing is written for. If your system, reorder label or service documentation shows 331-9805, this pack is five of that cartridge: $382.03 in total, $76.41 per unit, 8,500 rated pages each. No model translation is needed at the ordering end; the part number is the identity, and the range in the name is simply the list of machines it fits.
What does the pack do to the per-page cost across the range?
It brings every machine in the family to the same figure: about 0.90 cents per page. Five cartridges at 8,500 pages is 42,500 pages for $382.03, against $456.00 and roughly 1.07 cents per page if the same 331-9805 cartridges are bought one at a time at $91.20 — a saving of $73.97. Because the cartridge is common, the saving applies to output from any model in the range, not just one of them.
Is the cartridge under this range listing the same as under the model-named listings?
The same, in every respect we can state: compatible Dell 331-9805, 8,500-page rating, five to a pack, $382.03, with a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on each unit. The model-named listings — B2360, B2360D, B3460, B3465 and the rest — describe this identical cartridge for people who search by their machine's name. Order through whichever listing you found; the stock is one stock.
How does a mixed fleet draw on one pack?
Freely. The next sealed cartridge goes to whichever machine in the range runs dry, because it is the correct unit for all of them. Stock records show a single line — 331-9805 — and the count of five runs down as units are issued, with the busiest machine naturally drawing most often. No machine-specific reserves, no stranded spares.
What support stands behind a range-wide purchase?
Each cartridge is covered individually by the 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with the full terms on our shipping and returns page. Deliveries leave from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and our support team is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want the fleet fit confirmed before ordering.
