Frequently Asked Questions

How many pages will our B2360d get from one cartridge?

Up to 8,500 pages at standard coverage from a single 331-9805 cartridge. On a B2360d handling everyday office documents, that rating translates into months rather than weeks of printing — around 2,000 pages a month gives you roughly four months per cartridge. Pages with heavy coverage, such as dense forms, will use toner faster than the rating assumes.

The cartridge costs $91.20 — where does that leave our cost per page?

At roughly 1.07 cents per page. That is the number worth writing down: divide the $91.20 price by the 8,500-page rating and you have the true running cost of the B2360d's toner. Cheaper-looking cartridges with lower ratings usually land above that figure once the same arithmetic is applied.

Is the cartridge for the B2360d the same one the B3460dn uses?

Yes. The whole B2360/B3460/B3465 mono family runs on the single Dell cartridge code 331-9805, so the cartridge listed here for the B2360d is the identical cartridge that feeds a B3460dn or a B3465dn down the corridor. Offices running a mix of these models can hold one shared spare instead of a shelf of different boxes.

Can I change the cartridge in the middle of a long print run?

Yes — when the machine reports toner out, swap in the new 331-9805 and the run can be restarted. Keep the old cartridge in its bag until the new one has printed a few clean pages, just in case the problem turns out to be something else. Most users complete the whole swap in a couple of minutes without tools.

How should a spare cartridge be stored?

Flat, in its sealed packaging, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and radiators. Stored that way, a spare 331-9805 waits patiently until the B2360d needs it. Avoid garages and window ledges, where heat and humidity cycles do toner no favours.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong?

Our support team, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The cartridge itself is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a faulty unit comes back to us rather than becoming your problem. Orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA, and the return process is explained on our shipping & returns page.
