Frequently Asked Questions

We run a B2360d and a B3465dn — can one 3-pack feed both?

Yes, and that is the point of this listing. Every cartridge in the pack is the Dell 331-9805, the single black supply for the entire B2360-to-B3465 mono family, so the three cartridges can be shared between your two machines — or three, or one — in any order. Whichever machine runs dry first takes the next cartridge off the shelf.

What does the pack bring the per-cartridge price down to?

$78.87 per cartridge. The 3-pack costs $236.61 against $273.60 for three cartridges bought individually — a saving of $36.99. The cartridges are the standard 331-9805 units rated at up to 8,500 pages each; the saving is purely the pack pricing.

How many pages, and what cost per page, does the pack represent?

Up to 25,500 pages in total, which at the pack price works out to roughly 0.93 cents per page — down from about 1.07 cents a page at the single-cartridge price of $91.20. For a multi-machine site, that is one toner rate to budget across the whole mono fleet.

How should we rotate the stock between machines?

First in, first out: use the cartridges in the order they arrived, keep the waiting ones sealed and flat in a cool, dry cupboard, and log which machine each cartridge went into along with its page counter. With an 8,500-page rating per cartridge, a simple log turns reordering from a scramble into a schedule.

How do we confirm both of our machines take the 331-9805?

Read the label on the cartridge inside each machine — both should show 331-9805. That code, rather than the model badge, is the definitive check, because Dell's B2360, B3460 and B3465 families were all built around this one cartridge. If both labels match the code, one pack genuinely covers both machines.

What support and returns come with the pack?

Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with the detail set out on our shipping & returns page. These are compatible cartridges built to the 331-9805 specification, not Dell originals. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA or CA.
