Frequently Asked Questions

Our MF632Cdw mostly copies — does a toner set matter as much for copying?

Just as much. A copy drinks toner exactly like a print, and color copies draw on all four cartridges at once: 045HBK black for the text and shadows, and 045HC cyan, 045HM magenta and 045HY yellow for everything else. A machine that copies color documents all day can work through its color cartridges faster than its owners expect, which is why keeping the full Canon 045H set in the cupboard suits a multifunction printer so well.

Which cartridges does this set put in the machine?

One of each Canon 045H cartridge: the 045HBK black rated at up to 2,800 pages, and the 045HC cyan, 045HM magenta and 045HY yellow rated at up to 2,200 pages apiece. All four are the high-yield H versions, individually sealed inside the set box, ready to fit together or one at a time as the machine calls for them.

How does the set price stack up against four separate orders?

The four singles total $133.41 at this store — $32.49 for the black and $33.64 for each color. This set is $77.94, a saving of $55.47, and it brings the average cost of a cartridge down to roughly $19.49. Beyond the money, it replaces four checkouts and four deliveries with a single order arriving in one box.

Why does black always seem to run out first on this machine?

Because nearly everything the MF632Cdw produces — copies, scans sent to print, faxes, plain documents — is mostly black text. Color cartridges only join in where a page actually carries color. That is also why the Canon 045H family rates its black a step higher, 2,800 pages against 2,200 for each color: the ratings follow the way the machine really gets used.

Our color copies have started looking washed out — will a fresh set fix that?

If one color cartridge is near the end of its life, yes, that is the usual story: a fading cyan or magenta quietly unbalances every copy while black-and-white work still looks perfect. A full set replaces all three colors together with the black, so copies come back balanced instead of you guessing which single color has gone weak this month.

What cover and delivery come with the set?

These are compatible cartridges, each backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with claims handled per cartridge rather than per set. The full wording is on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from whichever warehouse — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is closest to the delivery address, and the support team works Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
