Frequently Asked Questions

Our skies print grey and the sea looks like dishwater — is the cyan to blame?

Almost certainly. Sky and water are cyan's showcase colours, and when the Canon 131 cyan (131C) fades, they are the first to collapse into grey-green murk on the LBP7110CW. A page can look broadly "fine" in black and warm colours while every blue has gone flat — that is the cyan running out, not a settings problem.

How can we be sure it is cyan and not another cartridge?

Print a page with a strong blue element — a header bar, a sky photo, a blue chart segment. If blue alone is weak while reds and yellows hold their strength, the 131C is the one that has faded. If greens are wrong too, that still points at cyan, because green is built from cyan and yellow together.

What is the page rating on this cartridge?

The Canon 131 cyan is rated at 1,500 pages, matching the magenta (131M) and yellow (131Y); the black 131BK is rated at 2,400 pages. A single cyan costs $34.70, and each of the four cartridges in the LBP7110CW is replaced independently as it runs down.

Is this a genuine Canon cartridge?

No — it is a compatible Canon 131 cyan cartridge, made to the 131C specification and sold under our own brand. That is how it stays at $34.70 while still being built to install in the LBP7110CW exactly like the original.

Will a fresh cyan change how the other colours print?

It restores the balance the other colours were mixed against. Greens clean up, blues deepen, and pages that had drifted cold come back to neutral — without touching the 131M, 131Y or 131BK, which keep whatever life they have left.

What warranty and returns cover it?

A 1-year warranty, with free returns during the first year if the cartridge fails to perform. We ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Full terms are on our shipping and returns page.
