Frequently Asked Questions

A full set for a compact printer like the LBP7110CW — isn't that a lot of toner to own?

It is a lot of pages, which is the point. The black 131BK alone is rated at 2,400 pages and each colour at 1,500, so one set can carry a small office or home office through a long stretch without a single toner errand. The cartridges wait sealed until needed, so owning the pages costs you one cupboard corner, not ongoing attention.

What does the set bring the per-cartridge price down to?

About $20.83 per cartridge. The four Canon 131 singles are $34.70 each — $138.80 the set's worth bought separately — so the $83.33 set price saves $55.47. On a printer that will certainly use all four colours eventually, that difference is simply money kept.

How far does one set stretch at small-office volumes?

Take the black rating of 2,400 pages: at 50 pages a week, that is close to a year of black printing; at 150 a week, around four months. Colour at 1,500 pages per cartridge stretches further in calendar terms because most small offices print far fewer colour pages than black ones.

Do all four cartridges have to go in at the same time?

No. Fit whichever cartridge the printer asks for and keep the others sealed. Many LBP7110CW owners fit the full set in one sitting for the tidy feeling of a completely fresh machine and even colour, but staggered fitting wastes nothing and changes nothing about how the remaining cartridges perform later.

Where do we keep three spare cartridges in a small office?

Flat in their sealed bags, in a drawer or cupboard away from sunlight and radiators. They are compact boxes, and storing them near the printer means the next changeover is a two-minute job rather than a delivery wait. Keep them in the order you plan to use them if you buy ahead again later.

What support stands behind the set?

These compatible cartridges carry a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — see our shipping & returns page for the details — and a support team on Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM CST if you want to talk through a print-quality question before deciding a cartridge is at fault.
