Frequently Asked Questions

At $12.92 per cartridge, what does a page actually cost in this pack?

About 0.54 cents — less than half the single pack's roughly 1.15 cents per page. That is the whole story of the Canon 137 family: the cartridge is small, so buying it one at a time is expensive printing, while pack pricing brings it into genuinely economical territory. Five singles would cost $138.50; this 5-pack is $64.58, a saving of $73.92, for the same total of 12,000 rated pages.

How long will 12,000 pages last a busy office?

At 1,000 pages a month — a hardworking small office or a shared departmental printer — this pack is about a year of printing. At 500 a month, closer to two years. However your volume falls, the point of the 5-pack is that toner stops being a recurring purchase decision and becomes something you reorder on a slow cycle, at the better price, once.

Is it risky having five cartridges on the shelf if one turns out faulty?

Less than it feels. The cartridges are individually sealed and covered one by one: a cartridge that underperforms is handled on its own under our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, set out on the shipping & returns page, and the rest of the pack is unaffected. Date the boxes when they arrive and open the oldest first, and the stock rotates cleanly.

Which printers do these cartridges suit?

They are compatible Canon 137 replacements for Canon imageCLASS printers that use the Canon 137 cartridge — Canon imageCLASS models across the MF, LBP and D series that are built for the 137 cartridge. Match the number on the cartridge you are replacing and you have the right pack.

Does buying five at once leave me stuck if my printing drops off?

Honestly, it can be more stock than a shrinking office needs — if your volume has fallen to a cartridge a year, the 2- or 3-pack is the smarter buy and we would rather sell you that. But for any workplace still printing steadily, sealed cartridges stored cool, dry and out of sunlight keep well across the life of this pack, so the risk is low.

What support sits behind a bulk pack like this?

The same as every order: dispatch from the nearest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, and a support team reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if a cartridge misbehaves or a delivery question comes up.
