Frequently Asked Questions

What does the page cost look like once you buy five at a time?

It changes the character of this cartridge. The Canon 128 is a modest-yield unit, and bought singly it runs about 1.25 cents a page — on the pricey side, honestly. In this pack each cartridge is $11.39, which works out to roughly 0.54 cents per rated page: a little over half the single-cartridge cost, across 10,500 pages. Volume is what makes this platform economical, and five is where that curve turns.

Exactly how much does the 5-pack save?

Five singles would cost $130.95. This pack is $56.96, so the saving is $73.99 — more than the pack itself costs. Even against the 3-pack's $13.86 per cartridge, the step down to $11.39 each is meaningful if your machine genuinely works through toner at a steady clip.

Which offices actually use five of these?

Ones where the imageCLASS or FAXPHONE is shared infrastructure: a front desk printing forms all day, a small practice or agency sending contracts and fax traffic, a back office that cannot pause for a toner delivery. At 500 pages a week, 10,500 rated pages is roughly five months of uninterrupted printing from one purchase.

Are all five cartridges the same, and will they fit my machine?

Yes — five identical compatible Canon 128 black cartridges, each rated for 2,100 pages, made for Canon imageCLASS and FAXPHONE printers that use the Canon 128 cartridge. Confirm against the label on the cartridge you are replacing: if it reads 128, every cartridge in this box is the right one. Each installs with the usual tool-free swap.

Five cartridges is a bigger commitment — how am I covered if one is bad?

The coverage is per cartridge, not per box: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns stand behind each unit individually, so a dud is replaced on its own and the other four are never part of the conversation. The full wording lives on our shipping & returns page.

How do I store four waiting cartridges, and where do they ship from?

Sealed, flat, in a cool dry cupboard out of direct sunlight — that is all toner asks for, and it keeps patiently. Orders ship from whichever of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses is nearest you, and our support team is reachable Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if a question comes up.
