Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a 3-pack the right size for?

For the machine in the middle: busier than a home desk, not busy enough for a case. Think of a small office imageCLASS or FAXPHONE that prints contracts, invoices and fax traffic every working day. Three cartridges give you 6,300 rated pages — one installed and two sealed spares — which at a few hundred pages a week covers the better part of a year without a single reorder errand in between.

What do I actually save against buying singles?

Three singles at $26.19 would total $78.57; this pack is $41.57, so $36.99 stays in your pocket and each cartridge lands at $13.86 instead of $26.19. That brings the toner cost down to roughly 0.66 cents a page — a little over half what the single cartridge costs per page, for the identical cartridges.

How should I rotate three cartridges so the last one is still good when I reach it?

Use them in the order they arrived and keep the waiting ones sealed in their boxes, stored flat in a cool, dry spot out of direct sun. A small date note on each box — written when the pack arrives — makes first-in, first-out effortless. Handled that way, there is nothing about the third cartridge's wait that hurts its output.

Does the 3-pack fit my printer?

These are compatible Canon 128 cartridges for Canon imageCLASS and FAXPHONE printers that use the Canon 128 cartridge. The label on your current cartridge is the fastest confirmation: 128 on the old one means this pack is the correct restock. Each cartridge installs with the same tool-free swap — out with the spent unit, in with the fresh one until it seats.

How does the warranty treat a pack of three?

Every cartridge is backed on its own by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, whether it is the first one you open or the last. If one fails early or prints poorly, that unit is what gets replaced — the rest of the pack is untouched. Terms are spelled out on our shipping & returns page.

Can I split this pack between two machines?

Certainly — two spares can sit beside two different printers, or one machine can hold both backups. Because each cartridge is individually sealed, dividing a pack changes nothing about condition or coverage. And if you need to ask us anything first, support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, with orders shipping from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses.
