Frequently Asked Questions

The machine only holds one cartridge — what does the second one in this pack actually do?

It waits on the shelf so a dead cartridge never stops the day. The Canon 128 is a modest 2,100-page cartridge, and on a machine that handles the office fax line or everyday printing it can run out at the worst moment. With a sealed spare next to the printer, the swap takes a minute and work continues — no emergency order, no waiting on a delivery while documents pile up.

How does the math on this 2-pack actually work?

Two singles bought one at a time would cost $52.38. This pack is $33.88, so you save $18.50 and the per-cartridge price drops from $26.19 to $16.94 — which pulls the running cost down from about 1.25 cents a page to roughly 0.81 cents. Across the pack's 4,200 rated pages, that difference is real money for what is, physically, the same pair of cartridges.

Will a cartridge sitting in its box for months still print properly?

Yes — a sealed cartridge in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight keeps well, and that is exactly how the spare in this pack is meant to live. Keep it in its original packaging until the day the installed cartridge fades, then open it. Toner does not dry out the way liquid ink does, so a shelf spare is a practical thing, not a gamble.

Which printers does this pack fit?

Both cartridges are compatible replacements for the Canon 128, made for Canon imageCLASS and FAXPHONE printers that use the Canon 128 cartridge. Check the label on the cartridge you are removing — if it says 128, you have the right pack. Installation is a straight swap with no tools, and because both cartridges are identical, either one can go in first.

What if one of the two cartridges turns out to be faulty?

Each cartridge is covered individually by our 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — a bad unit is replaced or refunded on its own, without sending back the good one or the whole pack. The details are on our shipping & returns page. Tell us what the output looks like and we will sort it out.

Where does my order ship from?

From the closest of our four warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, so most orders spend less time in transit. If anything about the pack or the delivery needs a human, our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
