Frequently Asked Questions

What does the per-page cost look like across this 3-pack?

Three Canon 128 cartridges at $41.57 works out to $13.86 per cartridge. With each rated at up to 2,100 pages, the running cost lands around 0.66 cents per page — close to half the 1.25 cents per page you pay buying the single at $26.19. Bought separately, three singles would total $78.57, so the 3-pack keeps $36.99 in your pocket for the identical Canon 128 (3500B001AA) cartridges.

Who is the 3-pack actually sized for?

An office that goes through a cartridge every month or two. The three cartridges cover up to 6,300 pages in total, which at 600 to 1,000 pages a month is roughly a half-year of printing handled in a single order. It is the pack size that stops toner from becoming a recurring errand without tying up much cash in stock.

Should I rotate the cartridges or use them strictly in order?

Use them in the order they arrived — first in, first out. Install one, keep the other two sealed, and open the next only when the installed cartridge is truly finished: faded across the whole page even after a gentle rock side to side to redistribute the toner. There is no benefit to swapping cartridges in and out of the machine, and an opened cartridge is happier being used than being shelved.

How should the two spares be stored?

Sealed in their bags, flat, in a cool dry cupboard away from sunlight and radiators. Heat and humidity are what age a cartridge, and an office supply cabinet avoids both. Stored that way, the spares will be in the same condition months from now as the day they arrived.

What protection covers a 3-pack purchase?

The same as every cartridge we sell: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on each unit, claimed individually. If the second cartridge you open prints badly, that cartridge is replaced or refunded — the ones that worked are not part of the claim. Full terms are on our shipping and returns page.

How quickly can I get printing again if I order today?

Orders leave from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, so transit is a domestic trip, not an international one. And once this pack is in the building, a cartridge change is a two-minute job with no waiting on delivery at all. Questions before you order? Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
