Frequently Asked Questions

Why would a set include two drums?

For sites running two machines from the same family — or one machine that absolutely cannot wait. Two DR630 drums (12,000 pages each) and two TN660 toners (2,600 pages each) cost $60.95 as a set, against $116.42 bought separately: a saving of $55.47, with a complete drum-and-toner refresh available for both machines at once.

How could the set be split in practice?

One drum and one toner per printer is the natural split, giving each machine a fresh imaging path on the same day. Alternatively, one machine takes both toners across its drum's life while the second drum waits as the site's emergency spare.

Which printers does it cover?

This set is built around the DR630 drum, which serves the DCP-L2520DW, DCP-L2540DW, HL-L2300D, HL-L2305W, HL-L2315DW, HL-L2320D, HL-L2340DW, HL-L2360DW, HL-L2380DW, MFC-L2680W, MFC-L2685DW, MFC-L2700DW, MFC-L2705DW, MFC-L2707DW, MFC-L2720DW and MFC-L2740DW family of Brother printers and all-in-ones — every machine in that family takes this drum and toner pairing.

Do both drums need counter resets?

Each drum needs its counter reset in whichever printer it is installed in — two installations, two resets. Toners need no reset in either machine.

How much total life does the set represent?

Up to 24,000 pages of drum rating and 5,200 pages of toner. The toners will cycle faster, as designed; the drums are the long-interval components this set lets you stop thinking about.

Is each of the four pieces individually warranted?

Yes — the 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns in our shipping and returns policy apply per item.
