Frequently Asked Questions

This "Premium Quality" 5-pack costs $278.96 — exactly the same as the standard GPR-15 5-pack. Is one of them a mistake?

No mistake — and no hidden difference either. Both listings offer the same cartridge: the GPR-15, part number 9629A003AA, rated at 21,000 pages per cartridge, at the same $278.96 for five, with the same 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns standing behind each unit. "Premium Quality" is part of this listing's name; it does not mark out a higher yield, a different specification or an upgraded warranty, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Order either listing with equal confidence — and as a general rule, never pay extra anywhere for an adjective you cannot find on a spec sheet.

So what are the numbers that actually matter here?

Five cartridges at 21,000 pages each: 105,000 pages in total. At $278.96, that is $55.79 per cartridge and about 0.27 cents per page — against $70.59 and roughly 0.34 cents buying the GPR-15 (9629A003AA) one at a time. Five singles would cost $352.95, so the pack saves $73.99. Those figures, the part number and the warranty terms are the whole comparison; everything else on either listing page is description.

How do we check this is the right cartridge before ordering?

Match the part number, not the label wording. If your stores system or your machine's supply list shows 9629A003AA — the GPR-15 — this pack is that cartridge, whichever listing you arrived through. The family serves the imageRUNNER 2230, 2270, 2770, 2830, 2870, 3025, 3025N, 3030, 3225 and 3230.

How does a fleet use a pack like this?

As central stock. All ten models in the family draw the same cartridge, so the pack sits in one store and units are issued against meter readings — the busiest machine gets the next cartridge, rather than each department holding its own. At fleet volumes, 105,000 pages is roughly a year's black toner bought in a single order.

How should the cartridges be stored and rotated?

Sealed, flat, cool and dry, with the arrival date marked on the box and units issued oldest-first. A cartridge may sit for months before its turn at this pack size; a gentle side-to-side rock before fitting settles the toner so the first copies print evenly.

What backing stands behind this order?

Each of the five cartridges carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, individually, with the full terms on our shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST — if the two listings have left you unsure, a quick call settles it: they are the same cartridge at the same price.

About This Canon GPR-15 Premium Quality Black Toner 5-Pack
