Two GPR-35 5 packs, both $219.50 — is the "Premium Quality" one actually different?
Not in any way the specifications can show, and we prefer saying so to implying otherwise. This listing and the standard 5 pack are both five compatible Canon GPR-35 cartridges (part number 2785B003AA) rated at up to 14,600 pages each: $43.90 per cartridge, roughly 0.30 cents per page, 73,000 pages in total, with the same 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. A label is not a specification. Pick either listing; you receive the same cartridges under the same backing.
Then how should I choose between listings like these?
By the verifiable numbers: part number, page rating, pack count, price per cartridge, and the returns policy standing behind the order. Those five facts fully describe this purchase. Any toner listing — from any seller — that leans on adjectives instead of those numbers is telling you less than you deserve to know.
Which copiers does this pack supply?
Canon's imageRUNNER 2520, imageRUNNER 2525 and imageRUNNER 2530 departmental copiers, all of which take the GPR-35 (2785B003AA). One pack can be shared across any mix of the three models, which simplifies stocking for departments that run more than one of them.
Is five cartridges too many for a single department?
Run the meter math: one copier at 3,000 pages a month takes about four years to consume 73,000 pages — too long a horizon for most offices, and the 3 pack would be the better judgment. Several machines, or one machine at genuinely high volume, bring the pack into sensible territory. The discount is real either way; whether it is worth tying up the shelf space is a volume question.
What happens if a cartridge from this pack prints poorly?
It is covered exactly as a standard-listing cartridge would be: a 1-year warranty against defects and 1-year free returns, assessed per cartridge. The full policy is on our shipping and returns page, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
How should the pack be stored in a busy copy room?
Sealed, flat and dry, somewhere that is not on top of the copier itself — the heat cycling up there is the one storage condition worth avoiding. Date the boxes on arrival, load oldest first, and keep the open cartridge's box until the next change so the empty has somewhere to go.
