Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a "Premium Quality" GPR-24 5-pack at the same $394.89 as the standard one?

Because the two listings are two doors to the same supply item, and we would rather say so than dress it up. This Canon GPR-24 (1872B003AA) Premium Quality 5-pack matches the standard 5-pack on the rating — 48,000 pages per cartridge — on the price, on the $78.98 per-cartridge cost, and on warranty and returns. No measurable difference exists for us to describe, so none is described. Some buyers' purchasing systems are set up around Premium Quality listings; if yours is not, the standard listing serves you identically.

What is the per-page cost in this pack?

Five cartridges at 48,000 rated pages is 240,000 pages for $394.89 — about 0.16 cents per page, and $73.96 less than buying the same five cartridges one at a time at $93.77. That is the same arithmetic as the standard 5-pack, because the cartridges and the price are the same.

Which copiers does this pack restock?

The GPR-24 (1872B003AA) serves Canon's imageRUNNER 5050, imageRUNNER 5050N, imageRUNNER 5055, imageRUNNER 5065 and imageRUNNER 5075. It is not a substitute for the GPR-17 family — different part number, different machines — so confirm the code on the cartridge you remove before ordering against this listing.

How should we evaluate this listing against the standard one?

Compare the specifications side by side: part number 1872B003AA, five cartridges, 48,000 pages each, $394.89, 1-year warranty, 1-year free returns. They match on every line. Our standing advice is to buy on those numbers and never on adjectives in a product name — and where two of our own listings tie on numbers, either choice is the right one.

Are warranty and returns the same as the standard 5-pack?

Yes, identical: a 1-year warranty against defects and 1-year free returns cover every cartridge in the pack, and a single failing unit is handled individually. The terms are on our shipping and returns page, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

What should we check when the pack arrives?

That the boxes name the GPR-24 and part number 1872B003AA and show the 48,000-page rating. Date each box and store them sealed, flat and dry, installing oldest first. Orders ship from our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California; if a delivery does not match the listing, contact support within the returns window and it will be corrected.
