Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 1-year warranty on this set actually cover in practice?

It covers the cartridges themselves: if a cartridge from the set proves defective — it fails early, leaks, or will not produce acceptable output despite being correctly installed — the warranty is the route to putting that right. It runs for a year from purchase and applies to all four cartridges in the box, not just the first one you fit.

A cartridge from the set has stopped working after six weeks — what do we do?

Contact our support team, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and describe what the cartridge is doing. Keep the cartridge and its packaging until the team has walked you through the next step. Early failure of that kind is precisely what the warranty exists for, and it is handled under the terms published on the page linked below.

How is the warranty different from the free returns?

They solve different problems. The 1-year free returns cover the purchase decision — the wrong set ordered, a change of plan — while the warranty covers the product itself when a cartridge turns out to be faulty. Both run for a year, and the full wording for each is set out on our shipping and returns page.

Does the "Premium Quality" wording change the warranty in any way?

No. This listing's cartridges — black 006R01395, cyan 006R01398, magenta 006R01397 and yellow 006R01396 — carry the same 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns as the standard listing, at the same $132.31 price. The cover you get is identical whichever name the listing carries.

Which machine is this set made for?

The WorkCentre 7428 FBX, and the same family serves its close relatives such as the WorkCentre 7435 FBX. Black is rated at 25,000 pages and each color at 15,000 pages.

Where does the set ship from, and who stands behind it?

Orders leave from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and the seller support behind the warranty is our own team on the hours above. The wider Xerox catalogue is on the brand page for any other machines you maintain.
