Frequently Asked Questions

Patient forms are scanned at check-in all day. Does that steady scanning draw anything from these cartridges?

Nothing at all. The scanner reads the form; it does not print it. The set is spent only on what the practice prints and copies — appointment cards, aftercare sheets, referral letters — so the check-in scanning routine never moves a cartridge level, even on the busiest morning.

Treatment plans go out with color diagrams. Which cartridges produce those, and how are they rated?

The diagram pages draw on all four cartridges, with the explanatory text carried by black, 006R01457, rated at 22,000 pages. The color work — charts, shaded diagrams, highlighted instructions — comes from cyan 006R01460, magenta 006R01459 and yellow 006R01458, each rated at 15,000 pages under standard coverage. Diagram pages use more toner per sheet than plain text, so plan on the colors finishing ahead of their headline ratings.

How does the front desk confirm this set before ordering?

Open the supplies view on the machine and read the numbers against the set: black 006R01457, cyan 006R01460, magenta 006R01459, yellow 006R01458. Check each color on its own — yellow carries the lowest number of the three colors, and that single quirk accounts for most mismatched orders.

One color ran out between patients. Does the practice change the whole set?

Only the empty cartridge. Each one swaps in and out of its own slot; the other three stay seated with their remaining life. A front-desk staff member can do it between appointments without a service call.

What comes in the box for $313.49?

One sealed black, one sealed cyan, one sealed magenta and one sealed yellow cartridge — the complete four-color refill. Drum units and other maintenance items are separate supplies with their own part numbers and are not included in this set.

What backs the set if a cartridge underperforms?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover each cartridge, and support is reachable Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses; delivery estimates and the returns process are detailed on the shipping and returns page, and the wider Xerox range is on the brand page.

About This WorkCentre 7225T Four-Color Toner Set

A dental practice runs its machine in both directions all day: forms and records scanned in at the desk, treatment plans and aftercare sheets printed back out for the patient. The WorkCentre 7225T shares its supply family with the WorkCentre 7225, and this set is matched to that flow — a black cartridge rated at 22,000 pages beneath the paperwork and 15,000 pages from each color for the diagrams patients take home. Verify the four numbers once, keep the set at $313.49 on the office order list, and the printer keeps pace with the appointment book.

Named for the 7225T, this set also serves the rest of the range — the WorkCentre 7220, WorkCentre 7220i, WorkCentre 7225, WorkCentre 7225i, WorkCentre 7120, WorkCentre 7125 and WorkCentre WC7220TI all take the same four cartridges. Each color is available separately too: the 006R01457 black cartridge, 006R01460 cyan cartridge, 006R01459 magenta cartridge and 006R01458 yellow cartridge, for the times when a single color gives out first.
