Frequently Asked Questions

Our agency scans client documents into our management system constantly. Does that touch the toner?

It does not. Scanning a driver's license or a signed application only reads the page — no cartridge is involved. Toner is spent when the machine prints a policy document or copies a certificate, which is why a scan-heavy agency still reorders on a printing schedule, not a scanning one.

What is the reliable way to check this set against the machine before ordering?

Bring up the supplies screen and compare all four numbers with the set: black is 006R01457, cyan is 006R01460, magenta is 006R01459 and yellow is 006R01458. The trap is the color ordering — yellow holds the lowest of the three color numbers, so read them one at a time instead of assuming they climb in the order the slots sit.

How far does the black cartridge realistically take an insurance office?

It is rated at 22,000 pages under standard coverage, and agency printing — policies, endorsements, declarations pages — is mostly ordinary text coverage, so black tends to land near its rating. The three colors, at 15,000 pages each, wake up for certificates, color letterhead and the occasional claims photo print, and they deplete far more slowly.

Is the full set of four the only thing in the carton?

Yes: one sealed black, one sealed cyan, one sealed magenta and one sealed yellow, sold together at $313.49. Maintenance supplies such as drum units carry their own part numbers and are ordered on their own when the machine calls for them — they are not hiding in this box.

Yellow is empty but a client needs a color certificate in ten minutes. Must the set be changed as a group?

No. Pull the yellow cartridge, seat the new one, and print the certificate. The black, cyan and magenta cartridges stay exactly where they are, untouched, with whatever life they still hold.

What stands behind the set after purchase?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns cover every cartridge, and our team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Stock ships out of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses; delivery estimates and the returns process are set out on the shipping and returns page, and the wider Xerox catalogue sits on the brand page.

About This WorkCentre 7220 Four-Color Toner Set

An insurance agency's machine does two jobs all day: it swallows paper — applications, licenses, signed forms — and it hands paper back in the form of policies and certificates. This set serves the second job: a black cartridge rated at 22,000 pages for the document stream, and cyan, magenta and yellow rated at 15,000 pages each for the certificates and color pages that clients actually keep. Confirm the four part numbers on the supplies screen, keep the set at $313.49 on the reorder list, and the WorkCentre 7220 stays ahead of the paperwork.
