How do I confirm these are the right cartridges before I open the box?
Pull up the supplies screen on your Phaser 6600 and compare the four numbers it shows against what is in this set: black is 106R02244, cyan is 106R02241, magenta is 106R02242 and yellow is 106R02243. If the panel lists those same four numbers, you have the correct refill set in hand and can open it with confidence.
What exactly arrives when I order this set?
Four sealed toner cartridges, one for each color channel — a single black, a single cyan, a single magenta and a single yellow. That is the complete order. Drum units and other machine supplies carry their own part numbers and are not part of this carton, so anything else the printer is asking for goes on a separate line.
Our office prints mostly black text with the odd color chart. How do the ratings play out?
The black cartridge is rated at 3,000 pages and each color at 2,000 pages, measured at standard coverage. A document-heavy office leans hard on black, so the 106R02244 usually sets the reorder rhythm while the colors idle along behind it. Charts, letterheads and highlighted statements draw on the color cartridges, and a run of full-color handouts will use them up noticeably faster than the ratings assume.
Can I swap just the color that ran dry?
Yes. Every cartridge sits in its own slot as its own sealed unit. If yellow gives out during a print run, you replace the yellow alone and leave the other three untouched. The job in the queue can carry on once the machine registers the fresh cartridge.
