We run about ten reams of paper a month through our C2632 — how long is a set likely to last us?
Work it through per cartridge. A ream is 500 sheets, so the black cartridge's approximate 26,000-page rating is roughly fifty reams of black printing, and each color cartridge's approximate 16,000 pages is roughly thirty-two reams of that color. At ten mixed reams a month, with black doing most of the work, the black will call for its change long before the colors do — the set is sized for exactly that uneven rhythm.

Most of our copying is black-and-white. Does that make the color cartridges a waste?
