Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is inside this ProXpress C2620 four-colour set?

One cartridge per colour for your C2620: the CLT-K505L black, rated at 6,000 pages, plus the CLT-C505L cyan, CLT-M505L magenta and CLT-Y505L yellow, each rated at 3,500 pages. Together that is 16,500 pages of rated output in a single $131.86 box.

Our C2620 copies as much as it prints — does copying draw on this toner the same way?

It does. A copy is a print the machine makes from its scanner, so every copied page consumes toner exactly like a printed one. Scanning a document to email or to a folder, by contrast, uses no toner at all — worth remembering in an office where the glass is busy all day.

How far does one set realistically take a shared office machine?

The ratings add up to 16,500 pages across the four cartridges. A small team putting a few hundred pages a week through the C2620 is looking at many months between set changes; a heavier desk will cycle the black — 6,000 pages on its own — well before the colours are done.

The colours never run out together — do I have to replace the whole set each time?

No. The four cartridges live independent lives, and each can be changed on its own the moment the machine reports it low. Buy the set for the price, fit cartridges one at a time as they empty, and keep the rest sealed until their turn comes.

How does the $131.86 break down per cartridge?

Divided four ways it is about $32.97 a cartridge — for a black rated at 6,000 pages and colours rated at 3,500 each. Spread across the set's combined 16,500-page rating, the blended cost lands near eight-tenths of a cent per page.

What protection do I get if a cartridge disappoints?

These are Clever Supplies compatible cartridges, and each one is covered by a 1-year warranty with free returns available throughout the first year. The details live on our shipping & returns page, and support is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if anything needs sorting out.
