Frequently Asked Questions

What does each cartridge in this ProXpress C2670 set actually do?

Four cartridges split the work by colour. The CLT-K505L lays down black — text, lines and shading — and is rated at 6,000 pages. The CLT-C505L (cyan), CLT-M505L (magenta) and CLT-Y505L (yellow), each rated at 3,500 pages, blend in varying proportions to build every colour your C2670 prints.

Which four codes should I see when the box opens?

CLT-K505L, CLT-C505L, CLT-M505L and CLT-Y505L — one cartridge per slot, four in total. The set is $131.86, which divides to roughly $32.97 a cartridge.

Our C2670 spends half its life copying — does that change toner use?

Copying consumes toner just as printing does, because the machine prints every copy it makes. Scanning documents to a folder or email consumes none. In a copy-heavy office, expect the set's 16,500 combined rated pages to be spent noticeably faster than the calendar alone would suggest.

When should I think about the next set?

At the first low-toner warning, not at the first blank page. The warning arrives with printing still possible, which gives you a comfortable window to order; with four warehouses — IL, PA, GA and CA — delivery is rarely a long wait.

What cover do these cartridges carry?

A 1-year warranty on every cartridge, with returns free of charge throughout the first year. The full wording sits on our shipping & returns page.

Can I raise a question before I order?

Yes — support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and can confirm you are looking at the right set for your machine before you commit.
