Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner cartridge does the MB260 MFP take?
Your MB260 MFP takes 56123401 and 56123402 — a single black toner cartridge that drops into the front of the printer in seconds.
Should I buy the standard or high-yield cartridge for the MB260 MFP?
The MB260 MFP accepts both the standard 56123401 and the high-yield 56123402 — same printer, same fit. Heavier print volumes favor the high-yield cartridge for its lower cost per page and fewer swaps.
Prints from my MB260 MFP are coming out faded — is the toner empty?
Light or gray prints from the MB260 MFP usually mean the toner cartridge is nearly spent. A gentle shake can buy a few more pages, but plan on replacing the 56123401 and 56123402 soon.
