Compatible Okidata MB460 MFP Laser Toner Cartridge Black fade-resistant pigment for professional laser documents with lasting impact.
Okidata MB460 MFP Toner cartridge in black color yields approximately 3500 pages print. Toner cartridge produces high quality reliable printing in your home or office.
Our MB460 MFP copies as much as it prints — does that change how long the cartridge lasts?
Yes, and it catches people out. Every copy your MB460 MFP makes uses the same toner as a printed page, so the 3,500-page rating on this 43979101 cartridge is shared between printing and copying. An office that copies 100 pages a week on top of its printing can burn through a cartridge noticeably faster than the print count alone would suggest.
What is the per-page cost when I count copies too?
The cartridge is $27.70 for 3,500 rated pages, which is about 0.79 cents per page whether that page comes out of the printer or the copier. A useful way to budget an MFP: add your monthly print and copy counts together, multiply by $0.0079, and that is roughly your monthly toner spend on this machine.
The MB460 MFP says toner is low but copies still look fine — should I swap now?
Low-toner warnings are conservative; there is usually usable toner left after the first warning. You can keep going until the output actually starts to fade — just have the replacement on hand, because once fading starts it does not recover on its own. Rocking the cartridge side to side can stretch the last of the toner a little further.
Is this a single cartridge or some kind of bundle?
It is a single black cartridge — one unit of the 43979101, rated at 3,500 pages. There is no pack quantity to work out; the $27.70 price buys exactly one cartridge for your MB460 MFP.
What cover comes with it if something goes wrong?
A 1-year warranty backs the cartridge, and returns stay free for a year too, so an early failure or a defective unit can go back without cost to you. Our shipping and returns page explains the steps, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
Which warehouse ships my order?
We hold stock in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and your cartridge ships from the warehouse that gives you the shortest delivery time. For an MFP that a whole office depends on, that regional spread helps keep downtime short when a cartridge runs out unexpectedly.
