Frequently Asked Questions
Is it worth keeping a spare Premium set on the shelf for the C9800GAMFP?
For most offices, yes. At $292.17 for four cartridges rated at 15,000 pages each, the set costs about $73.04 per cartridge, and a multifunction machine that copies in color can drain a color position with little warning. A boxed spare means the next empty cartridge is a two-minute swap instead of a stalled workday.
How is this Premium listing different from the standard C9800GAMFP set?
On the facts that matter, it is not: same $292.17 price, same 15,000-page rating on every cartridge, same part numbers 42918901, 42918902, 42918903 and 42918904. "Premium Quality" is a listing label, and we would rather tell you plainly that the price and yield are identical than dress up a difference that is not there.
How long can unopened cartridges sit in storage?
Kept sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, toner cartridges store well for extended periods. Fit them one at a time as the C9800GAMFP calls for them; there is no need to open all four just because they arrived in one box.
Which machines does this set serve?
It is catalogued for the C9800GAMFP and the related Oki C9600hdn, C9600hn, C9600n and C9800hdn. The dependable check is the cartridge numbers themselves — 42918901 through 42918904 — against the ones currently in your machine.
What protection comes with these compatible cartridges?
A one-year warranty and one-year free returns under our shipping and returns policy. These are compatible cartridges rather than Oki originals, and that coverage is how we stand behind them.
Who do I contact if the set gives me trouble?
Our support team, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, so replacements move quickly when a warranty claim is approved.
About This C9800GAMFP Premium Quality Set
This Premium Quality listing is the shelf-spare version of the same story: four compatible cartridges — 42918901, 42918902, 42918903 and 42918904 — rated at 15,000 pages apiece, for the C9800GAMFP, at $292.17, identical in price and yield to the standard listing. Buy it because a color-copying MFP should never wait on a delivery, not because the label promises more. The rest of the family is on our Okidata page.
